Our Story
We were established in 2006 and provide General Insurance to Financial Intermediaries. Based in the heart of the picturesque Ribble Valley, 3XD was started by a group of highly motivated and experienced individuals with a background in Insurance, Banking and the Mortgage market. Their combined experience as Directors came from Aviva, Halifax, National Westminster Bank and Paymentshield to name but a few.
Through our own bespoke technology we have accessed a wide range of General Insurance products for intermediaries to provide to their clients. With the support of a panel of UK leading Insurers we are highly competitive on rates across the UK, which is a key to our success.
We continuously strive to offer the best possible products and services. This has been achieved by developing and maintaining our sophisticated, in-house administration systems – giving us total control and unrivalled speed of application.
We offer a seamless selling experience from start to finish. Our system provides a premium in seconds from our panel of UK Insurers, all of which operate under 3XD’s common policy wording, allowing our intermediaries to select the best premium without the worry or hassle of having to compare cover.
We have a strategic direction of ensuring value to customers and treating them fairly – that’s why we have no cancellation fees or monthly interest charges.
In recognition of all this, in 2015 3XD were granted the Customer Service Excellence® Award in acknowledgement of outstanding customer service delivery to our policyholders, intermediaries and insurers, and this award has been retained each year since.
In 2019, 3XD was acquired by GRP, one of the UK’s top insurance intermediary groups, who themselves were acquired by Brown & Brown in 2022 – with more than 80 years of proven success, Brown & Brown is one of the insurance industry’s most powerful and influential leaders:
